Biography

Wafaais a dedicated and experienced Quranic teacher with a strong background in Islamic sciences. With a bachelor’s degree in Quranic sciences from the University of the Holy Quran and Islamic Sciences, and an Ijazah in the Hafs narration from Asim via the Shatibiyyah, Wafaa has established herself as an expert in Quranic recitation. 

Over the past two decades, Wafaa has tutored students of all levels - from beginners to advanced learners - at Al-Khansa' School for Quranic Education, where she has been a valued member of the faculty since 2000. Her ability to tailor her teaching approach to meet the diverse needs of her students has earned her a reputation as a compassionate and effective educator. 

In addition to her extensive teaching experience, Wafaa holds an Ijazah in the Qa'idah Al-Nuraniyyah, a renowned textbook on Quranic recitation. She has also successfully mentored over twenty female students, guiding them in their Quranic studies and witnessing their growth and development. Furthermore, Wafaa has taught Quranic studies at Al-Rashid Modern Schools, Girls' Branch, for two years, demonstrating her versatility and expertise in different educational settings.
